I love big weddings, lots of guests, a huge bridal party, all the excitement and buzz of the day – but there is something very special about small ones. When you have the chance to strip everything away and just focus on the couple, the vows, the ring. The day still carries the same aura of excitement when there is just two people a photographer and a wedding officiant. This was one of those beautiful days…
Jon and Katy are two of the classiest people I know, but all their classy style doesn’t keep them from being some of the most friendly, laid-back and fun people I’ve had the privilege of knowing. Jon and Katy threw one heck of a party from the moment I arrived at this hotel (with fantastic views of the city!), to the trolley ride, to the gorgeous reception at the Terra Gallery packed with friends and family! This couple brings life and smiles to every situation. Katy and Jon, I am so glad to know you two! Congratulations!

Capturing people on their wedding day for a living always brings back good memories as pour through the year’s photographs. As I look back on some of my favorite moments from this last year, I am so proud to have been featured once again on 100 Layer Cake and Green Wedding Shoes with two of their favorite weddings of 2012. It has been such a fun year!!
