WELCOME TO 331

Welcome to my home… I was getting just a small (ok, maybe a large) amount of pressure to post these pictures, and since I don’t have a personal blog, everyone is invited! So, here is my wonderfully old house – my husband and I share this rented house with a cat, a creature in the wall and a backyard tenant! We love it – and so do you:)

Here’s the view as you walk in the front door…

My new favorite detail, the typewriter (I’m not exactly sure how it ended up claiming the second desk… maybe I’m just getting tired of computers…)

Say hello to orange chair number two – that’s right!

where I spend most of time time playing – I mean working. working.

Guest room. Why does everyone seem to be drawn to this color blue. If I had one ounce of painting energy this would be GONE. Sorry everyone – but your blue pains my eyes.

Kitchen.

boring bedroom.

And I mostly put this one in here because our toilet is now awesome.:)

Hope you enjoyed the tour – come and visit soon!

WE MOVED!

Well, it’s been quite some time since I last posted, (maybe I just have to accept my fate as a terrible blogger?), but this time I have a grand excuse – or at least something worth noting on this blog even – Eddie and I moved to Sacramento (Roseville to be exact) this month! Just in case you weren’t sure where…

It has been a long and crazy month full of new adventures and now I’m finally coming back to reality and will resume my postings as normal…hopefully. Business here will change to say the least but I am excited about the new possibilities presented in being closer to Sacramento and the Bay Area!! I love this town! We are living in an awesome old house in downtown Roseville that was built in 1936 – I am absolutely loving it! As we search for a house of our own to buy I can’t help but fall more in love with old houses, they are just so unique – and smelly and quirky and not perfect and fun! Anyway, thank you all for your patience as I made my way up north. I am still booking weddings all over California and I will be posting my last adventures with some families in Bakersfield over the next couple weeks!

SEAN & JENNY

Sean and Jenny are a stunning couple, both inside and out. Hanging out with these two for a day was way too much fun! I started out the day meeting up with one of my best friends, Lorie Chambless, and we began the photography adventures at Jenny’s own shop, The Little White Dress, downtown. I absolutley loved these two! Beautiful wedding, awesome party, and some pretty ridiculous photos! (this is the part where I come up with some excuse for the massive amount of photos posted, but I have none- hope you all enjoy!) Thank you Sean and Jenny!

Here are a couple of Lorie’s shots of the guys!

The only couple I’ve known to grab a milkshake after the ceremony! (this… I would highly recomend)

JOEY & ALY

Aly has been in my life since we were babies! Our moms were (and still are) close friends, so naturally Aly’s oldest sister, (who is my age), and I were best of friends growing up and she stood by me as a bridesmaid in my wedding a few years ago! I love this girl, and I was so happy to be able to shoot her engagment photos. I am so looking forward to the wedding! Joey and Aly are a perfect match, we had an awesome time tromping through the field and even making friends with a horse or two.
