So….. this baby is growing like a weed and I took these photos some time ago now, but I figure you can’t go wrong with a little baby love on your blog every once and awhile, right? Plus, it’s way easier than making a wedding post – and this is my blog. So you get a baby today. And she’s a cute cute cute one!!

KIRK & COURTNEY: WEDDING

This was a wedding to remember! Not only was it absolutely beautiful and so so sweet, but Kirk and Courtney endured a windstorm to get married that day! AND they were so incredibly awesome throughout the whole thing! (Really, you should have seen what mother nature cooked up for us on that hilltop!) Even so, I wouldn’t have changed a thing because I was able to witness some of the sweetest moments I have ever seen at a wedding to date. These two just smiled their way through the wind and dust and made it the most memorable and love filled days EVER! Congratulations on your marriage Kirk and Courtney, your happiness as a couple truly rubs off on others!

I couldn’t make it through this post without including one of my favorites …. just in case you were wondering if it really was as windy as I described, here are a couple of guests walking into the ceremony ….. : )

DAVID & NATALIE: WEDDING

David and Natalie, I can hardly say one name without the other for two reasons: 1. everytime I contacted them via e-mail it was signed, David & Natalie (even the e-mail address starts with david.natalie!) and 2. because these two have a beautiful story together and a FANTASTIC wedding day that I will never forget! I felt like I was a running a photographer marathon on this day, and I was loving it – down to the last little detail! (And trust me, Natalie had them all nailed down to the T, it was gorgeous!) Thank you for letting me a part of this beautiful celebration and congratulations to David&Natalie!

Below is one of my favorite bridal party shots to date!Natalie, you are just so beautiful!I felt like I had to re-learn a few things about weddings on this day – so many new traditions! Below is the Tea Ceremony, a quaint little ritual with the parents of the bride and groom before the reception. Thank you David and Natalie, your day was awesome!

I feel like I’ve known Chau forever, he’s been a good friend to my husband for so many years and I was more than excited to have the privilege of photographing this long awaited wedding! I am so happy for the two of you, you are perfect for each other! Thanks for giving me the excuse to take photos of my own husband : ) and for putting on one of the most awesome receptions I’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to see you guys again soon!

I highly recommend the ‘loosing the ring’ joke! Each groomsmen seemed to discover something different in their pockets as they went down the line – chopsticks, baby bottles, and a wrestling belt were among the many items pulled out before the ring was found. I know it’s cheesy, but look at Chau, he’s loving this! : )

CARLOS & PEARL: WEDDING

Carlos and Pearl are so in love! One of my favorite moments in all weddings is watching the face of the groom as his bride walks down the isle toward him. He is so focused on her alone and the impact of this life changing moment. I will never forget the way Carlos accepted his bride with tears in his eyes – what a beautiful moment! I am so excited for the two of you, congratulations as you enter this commitment to life together, in love!

MATT & JENNIFER: WEDDING

Matt and Jennifer are my very first Roseville wedding!!! Why is this special to me? Because Roseville is my new hometown! I felt so lucky to be able to photograph such a sweet and committed couple! They were married at the end of May in the beautiful St. Clare Catholic Church and finished up the party at Sierra View Golf Club.
